About Yasmina
I am a solicitor apprentice in the childcare law team, based in Crystal Palace.
Our team represents parents whose children are at risk of being taken into Local Authority care, children (through their Children’s Guardians) and other interested parties, such as grandparents, who may wish to be considered as carers.
Working alongside Children’s panel solicitor Tracey Cassidy, I predominantly assist with cases involving the representation of children either directly or through their Children’s Guardian. In my role, I perform a wide range of duties, with a key responsibility of being the main point of contact for clients when their lawyer is unavailable due to court commitments
Additionally, I liaise with CAFCASS guardians, attend pre-proceedings meetings, brief counsel, and manage the general administration of cases in the lawyer’s absence.
I look forward to continuing my Solicitor Apprenticeship and developing my experience in this highly meaningful area of law, supporting clients through what is often one of the most challenging periods of their lives.
