What our clients say about Sophie Fox-Otabor
About Sophie
I am an experienced paralegal providing essential support to a team of four lawyers specialising in childcare law.
Our team represents parents whose children are at risk of being taken into care as well as children (through their Children’s Guardians). We also advise other interested parties, such as grandparents, who wish to step forward as carers.
In my role, I perform a wide range of duties, with a key responsibility being the main point of contact for clients when their lawyer is unavailable due to court commitments.
Additionally, I attend court hearings, represent parents at pre-proceedings meetings, assist with drafting client statements, brief counsel, and manage the general administration of cases in the lawyer’s absence. Currently, I’m assisting Sue Pryse-Davies on several Adoption matters. This is an area of law that I’m keen to learn more about and progress in.
I’ve been in this role since 2023, and the immense job satisfaction I gain from being part of a team that makes a tangible difference in our clients’ lives is incredibly rewarding and one of the main reasons I wanted to practice law.
