Chartered Legal Executive
“Katie was terrific when we took our probate case to her. We had confusing paperwork and some of the work we had done, but she sorted it all out and explained everything when we didn't quite understand it. I would give her twenty stars if I could.” – Michelle, client feedback survey

About Katie

I am a chartered legal executive at Amphlett Lissimore, and I work in the Private Client department. I specialise in Wills, Probate, registration of Enduring Power of Attorneys, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

I have worked in this area of law since February 2014, and previously I worked in litigation for over 8 years. I have dealt with the usual applications for deputyship in the Court of Protection, as well as dealing with more uncommon applications, for example, applying for the removal of an Attorney on registration on an Enduring Power of Attorney because they had abused their powers and stolen money from the Donor.

I also have experience in dealing with the administration of complex and high-value estates and liaising between parties involved in an estate when there are issues and disputes between them.

In 2019, I became a Dementia Friend as well as an accredited Lifetime Lawyer (formerly known as Solicitors for the Elderly). The Association of Lifetime Lawyers is a community of legal professionals on a mission to support vulnerable and older people with the right legal advice. I am based in our West Wickham office, but also provide services at our Crystal Palace, Croydon, and Bromley offices. Home visits are also available upon request.
