What our clients say about Karina Laird

About Karina

I’m a litigation solicitor based across our Crystal Palace and Victoria offices, specialising in Dispute Resolution matters. I advise on a wide range of civil and commercial disputes, including contested probate, charging orders and orders for sale, debt recovery, enforcing judgments, and landlord and tenant matters (such as eviction).

Over the course of my career, I’ve handled matters valued in excess of £10,000, many of which have progressed to trial. My experience includes cases in both the County Court and the High Court, as well as resolving disputes through mediation and round‑table negotiations. I also have experience in multi‑jurisdictional matters, including asset tracing and recovery in jurisdictions such as the British Virgin Islands, France, and Panama.

Before joining Amphlett Lissimore, I worked across a variety of legal environments. From high street firms to a boutique City practice, and even within a barristers’ chambers, this has given me a broad and adaptable perspective when dealing with complex disputes.

My approach is pragmatic and rational. I focus on understanding my clients’ objectives from the outset and work to resolve disputes in the most effective, proportionate, and commercially sensible way. Whether acting for individuals or businesses, claimants or defendants, I aim to provide clear advice and go above and beyond to achieve the best possible outcome.
