About Emily
With over 10 years’ experience in family law, I work closely with clients to provide clear, practical advice tailored to their individual circumstances.
As an Associate Solicitor in the Family team at Amphlett Lissimore since 2024, I advise clients on a wide range of private family law matters, with particular expertise in divorce and financial issues arising from relationship breakdown, whether resolved by agreement or through court proceedings. I regularly advise on cross-border matters involving complex financial issues and international considerations. Alongside this, I am frequently instructed on pre and post-nuptial agreements, as well as cohabitation agreements.
I understand that family law matters can often be emotionally and financially challenging, and I pride myself on taking a pragmatic, empathetic and client-focused approach to enable individuals to achieve the best possible outcome. I offer an initial fixed-fee meeting where we can discuss your circumstances and discuss next steps if you wish to instruct me after this first consultation.
I am fluent in Italian and am registered as an Italian-speaking solicitor with the Italian Consulate in London, as well as speaking basic French and Spanish. I am based in our Central London offices and happy to meet clients wherever suits best.
I have dedicated my career exclusively to Family Law since qualifying as a solicitor in 2018, and I am proud to play an active role in its community as a member of Resolution and Women in Family Law. I am also an active member of the Working Group on Pets on Separation and Divorce formed by dedicated lawyers, barristers, and other professionals seeking to drive change in our domestic legislation surrounding treatment of pets. As a result, I have attended, along with the co-founders and other members, the House of Lords and other meetings to ensure there is awareness.
At the Lexis Nexis Family Law Awards 2025, our working group was Highly Commended in the Family Law Community Interaction Award, a reflection of how the legal industry has gotten behind us as we push for a change in the law. The Working Group for Pets on Divorce and Separation has also been shortlisted in the Resolution Awards 2026 for the ‘Working Together Award‘.
