About Adrienne
I am the law costs draftsman for the Children law department at Amphlett Lissimore. This means that I deal with all aspects of the finances within the team and work closely with the solicitors and supporting staff to ensure that all payments are accounted for. I specialise in finances relating to legal aid in cases involving children. Over the years, I have built up a good relationship with outside companies and barristers’ fee clerks. If I cannot help or answer questions, then I pride myself on trying to find the answers. I deal with the Legal Aid Agency, which includes fixed fee matters, interim payments, escaped cases and high costs.
I have over 30 years of experience working in the legal field. I was the office manager for my own family’s law firm, C R Burton & Co. In 2016, I moved to train as a Law Costs Draftsman; in 2018, I joined Amphlett Lissimore as a member of the Children law team.
