We approached Amphlett Lissimore for the first time to sell my mother’s house after her move to a nursing home. It was a stressful time for the whole family and we needed a good solicitor to progress the sale as smoothly as possible. Jimmy Wensley in the Bromley office did most of the work and was brilliant. He was highly professional and showed great empathy towards the family. He even phoned me one evening to put my mind at rest over an issue he knew was worrying me and visited my mother in the nursing home to discuss the sale with her. Jimmy was also very responsive, often replying to e-mails within minutes and keeping us updated at every stage. It felt as though we were his only clients! Other staff were involved after exchange of contracts and we were equally impressed with them. The sale was completed quickly and we really could not have asked for more. Katie has been so kind and explained everything thoroughly so I fully understood the paper work I had in front of me. I also had a bias that solicitors will try to get as much money out of you as possible. Especially as I spoke to a solicitor beforehand who had quoted an absurd amount of money for their services. Yet Katie, was the complete opposite, I know that she was helping me because she wanted to and not because there is a pay cheque at the end of it. I can’t thank her enough. I really can’t, she helped me to sleep at night and stopped me from having breakdowns sporadically throughout the day. She made me feel human again. I know that if I need any further assistance I will be straight on the phone to her. Thank you so much Katie!
