Donations given by local businesses in the Triangle mean that we can replace the public defibrillator in Westow Street.
Last month we launched a fundraising campaign to buy a new defibrillator, replacing the one stolen from outside our office in 2018. Support from our lovely community came in thick and fast, and the money was raised within a fortnight.
Thanks to nearby businesses Best Western London Queens Crystal Palace Hotel, Telis Limited, QVoice Limited, Sefgrove Chemists, and Bambino, we can now source the latest life-saving equipment – a Powerheart® AED G5 Automatic from Cardiac Science – for the Triangle. It will be installed in a weatherproof container in front of Greystoke House, opposite the White Hart.
Thank you to everyone who supported this campaign – to all the fantastic businesses who donated, and to everyone who shared the posts and retweeted our plea for donations. Your support means that our community will have a defibrillator available to them should they need it – It will quite simply, save lives.
