Legal 500 United Kingdom 2027 rankings

Amphlett Lissimore is delighted to have once again been recognised in the Legal 500 United Kingdom – Solicitors 2027 rankings for our work in Family: Kent, Surrey and Sussex.

The recognition reflects the expertise, dedication and client-focused approach of our Family and Children Law teams and marks our second consecutive year in the guide.

In its 40th year, The Legal 500 praised the team, stating:

“The family team at Amphlett Lissimore is geared to advise on both financial and children matters, regularly providing clients with non-confrontational routes to resolution.”

Recognised for a Second Consecutive Year

Commenting on the ranking, Family Law Partner Alice Brett said:

“Being ranked in The Legal 500 for a second year running is something we’re incredibly proud of. It recognises not only the quality of legal advice we provide, but also our commitment to delivering a supportive and personal service to every client. This achievement reflects the collective efforts of the entire team and our ongoing commitment to excellence.”

Continuing to Strengthen Our Family and Children Teams

Over the past year, our Family and Children Law teams have continued to build on their expertise, with several notable achievements and accreditations.

Samantha O’Dwyer has qualified as a hybrid and child-inclusive mediator, Shaheen Marriott achieved the Law Society’s Children Panel accreditation, and both Alice Brett and Tracey Cassidy were promoted to Partner in June 2026.

Reflecting on the team’s success, Partner and Head of Childcare, Tracey Cassidy said:

“This recognition is a fantastic achievement for our team and one that reflects the strength and continued development of the department. Since stepping into the role of Head of Childcare earlier this year, I’ve been proud to see the team’s expertise, commitment, and reputation continue to grow. We remain focused on delivering outstanding support to children and families, and it’s wonderful to see those efforts recognised by The Legal 500.”

About our Family and Children Law teams

Both our family law and children law teams are ranked in the Legal 500 UK Guide 2027. Together, they support clients across the full spectrum of family law matters, including financial arrangements, child arrangements, cohabitation agreements, care proceedings and adoption.

The guide also features testimonials that highlight the team’s commitment to client care:

“A fantastic team, offering a broad spectrum of experience across all areas of family law. The team is dedicated to providing the best possible client experience, and often goes above and beyond for their clients… All team members are approachable and vastly experienced”.

– Legal 500 Testimonial

As members of Resolution, our teams are committed to helping families resolve disputes constructively and with as little conflict as possible. Resolution also recognised Tracey Cassidy and Lynsey Robertson as leading practitioners in their field when they were selected as finalists at the Resolution Awards 2026.

Many of our Family Law solicitors hold individual Family Law accreditations, while three members of our Children Law team are Law Society-accredited Children Panel solicitors, enabling them to represent children directly in proceedings.

Toni Wensley, Partner at Amphlett Lissimore, added:

“It’s brilliant to see our Family and Children Law teams recognised in The Legal 500 for a second consecutive year. The team works tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients and has built a strong reputation both among those we support and within the wider legal community.”
