Amphlett Lissimore has held the Lexcel practice management standard since 2006. Meaning that 2026 marks an impressive 20th consecutive year of meeting the highest standards in legal practice management and care.
What is Lexcel Practice Management Standard?
The Law Society’s hallmark of excellence, Lexcel, is an independent mark of quality awarded only to practices that meet rigorous standards of client care, practice management, and compliance.
Currently, there are just under 9,000 law firms in England and Wales, and only around 1500 are Lexcel accredited.
To achieve accreditation, firms must demonstrate by way of an independent assessment that the standard is embedded in their firm’s structures, policies, and procedures. Firms that achieve the standard are then assessed annually to ensure continued compliance.
Lexcel Accredited since 2006
Amphlett Lissimore first achieved this Law Society quality mark for practice management and client care in 2006. To maintain the accreditation, the practice undergoes annual independent audits to ensure we continue to meet high standards in areas such as:

- Risk management
- People management
- File and case management
