This service includes simple, mirrored, or more complex wills featuring Trusts. As part of our service, you will receive up-to-date inheritance tax advice and storage of your new Will free of charge. Our private client team can also assist you with any amendments you need to make to an existing will.

Our experienced team can guide you through setting up ‘Property and Financial Affairs’ and ‘Health and Welfare’ lasting powers of attorney, as well as acting as your certificate provider when assessing mental capacity

The private client team at Amphlett Lissimore can advise you on applying to the Court of Protection to appoint a deputy. A deputyship is required to manage the financial aspects of a person’s life if they no longer have mental capacity at the time of making the application and are unable to manage their financial affairs.

Our skilled team can assist you with applying for a Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration. We can also take the whole process off your shoulders and administer the estate for you, whether we have been appointed as the executors or not. We also have a contentious probate specialist within our litigation team if you are experiencing problems with family members or you need to make a financial claim against an estate.

About our Wills and Probate team

At Amphlett Lissimore, our Wills and Probate lawyers have in-depth knowledge in all areas of private client law and can help you with life planning for you and your family. Our friendly solicitors will put you at ease, explaining everything clearly without any legal jargon.

The team are all Dementia Friends and are committed to learning how best to support our clients living with Dementia. The Wills and Probate team include an accredited Lifetime Lawyer (formerly known as Solicitors for the Elderly) and a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).

Our Private Client team is based in our Crystal Palace and West Wickham offices, but we also offer appointments at our other offices such as Bromley and London Bridge. We offer face-to-face meetings, telephone, and video call appointments. Home visits may be available upon request.
